The Mar Menor lagoon to the west, with Veneziola beach in the distance and the Campo de Cartagena shore behind. This is the calm side of La Manga: see the colour of the lagoon and whether it is calm before you swim.
The sun sets to the west, so in the evening this is the camera for sunsets over the Mar Menor. After heavy rain you can also see the muddy water flowing into the lagoon.
La Manga del Mar Menor is a sandbar more than 20 kilometres long between two seas: the Mar Menor, Europe's largest saltwater lagoon, and the Mediterranean. Our cameras stream from Veneziola, at the northern end of La Manga, and show general panoramic views, taken from a distance and masked where needed: nobody can be identified.
